Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

Why would you play SSF, if you can play normal online multiplayer, but never trade gear?
Like why cant you play on normal softcore trade league, have the ability to chat and interact with other players, but just never trade gear with anybody?

like this game is literally not balanced around SSF, i can tell you after leveling two characters to lvl 93, and killing every boss possible.

There are things like "Audience with the king" which is a key that can take you up to 100+ ritual maps to find it, and then 5+ more to buy it, while also passing through 100+ maps inbetween, including towers. And you also could just die to a one shot an that key is done.

and in order to reach 8 passive points with King of Mist, you will need to do 2000+ maps, and kill him 4 times without dying. (4 level difficulties)

Literally the game is balanced around divine orbs and trading keys to access bosses, its not meant for you to grind all the keys alone.

If you are playing SSF - remember this, you will never kill all of the bosses of PoE 2.

Simply because of your limitation on buying keys.

I play SSF and only use the currency exchange because GGG is stuck in 1999 with its trade system. Get that ♥♥♥♥ in game already GGG.
Like, why do you care?
Like literally, like, why?

If you think this game is balanced around the league in which you can slap 2 exalt worth of uniques and clear A1 in 20 minutes, good for you.

i care because since the beginning i was planning to learn the entire game on trade league, and then after i learned everything i would start on HC SSF

But the knowledge i have received is disturbing, and im trying to warn you, that boss activities have mandatory requirements of trading currencies to actually beat the bosses.

Or like months and months of grinding like 8 hours a day, and a reminder you only have about 6 months of EA.

So what im going to do, is play on HC SSF (but pretend im SSF, and never trade with people, but use the ALVA NPC for currency trading so that i can buy boss keys, instead of wasting months and years grinding every key slowly)

and i recommend you people do the same. Because who knows how long it will take GGG to implement transfer from SSF to Trade league. Right now that option is bugged.

Unless you are a skilled/professional gamer, trust me, you will learn the entire game (excluding trading) by just playing only Hardcore Solo Self Found.
I personally disagree that the game is balanced around trading, in fact I think it's the opposite.
It seems like to me that Trade League is actually this games Easy mode, SSF being Normal, and Hardcore being actually Hard mode.
Because I wish to.

Why would I play Standard? All you do is stand around and buy gear instead of getting it yourself. It's more Path of Trading 2 than Path of Exile 2.

SSF has better Global chat (no Trade spam) and you EARN everything you find/craft. It's also skill-based and harder. Trade is EZ Mode (for casuals).

Honestly? I hate their trade system and don't want it to even be a temptation.

Also, I don't want to chat or interact with people in the game. I want to play it when I'm on.

Why do you care how someone else plays the game?

Does it bug you when someone else plays a Ranger instead of a Witch?

Picking one class over another is more or less the same as choosing SSF VS Standard: it's just a different way to play the game.

Some people would prefer being able to trade with other players. Other people prefer to find everything on their own.

It all depends on what a given player thinks is fun. It doesn't effect how you play the game, so why care?

To put it another way I don't care what you choose to make for dinner because I won't have to eat it.
