whats wrong with using the trade website instead ?
No idea what this is, but don't trust it.
none of these people seem to have issues
i wonder what your anti virus app is called
Solution is pretty damn simple . .dont use 3rd party apps that can do nasty ♥♥♥♥ to your PC .. like steal your passwords and account details.
I know of no game that uses such a system to trade in game items.
It's absolutely not acceptable, not even for a free game. It opens you up to all kind of issues, including using third party apps and other things.
You might not feel its acceptable but there are things to consider:
1- It's safer - no need to worry about intentional trojan's or other viruses
2- it cost money to make a mobile app then having to develop a way to link what you're doing on the mobile app in a safe and secure manner.
3- it cost money to put things on the the play/app stores (I also think I remember reading that there are also transaction costs)
4- likely there will be ads to generate revenue OR it will be a paid service to help offset the overhead to run said app and the fees doing so incurs.
These are just the 4 that come to mind from someone who isn't a developer. Overall, its always best to use the intended method if there is no alternate "official" way to do it. Its always risky to use unknown and unverified third party apps.
It's like straight off Warez
Normal folk don't deal with it either.
I'm not playing SSF because I wanna still coop with friends, but ibhave zero intent to engage with trade until GGG makes it less archaic and scammy.
This is a virus using a well known name to catch people unaware
I fully expect the OP to be back here in a week or so complaining about their account getting hacked and banned and wondering how it happened.
just deleting the App wont do much as they have likely already ran it and the Trojan is infecting their system.
