PC FREEZING win11 update 24h2
Heard the only way to fix this is rolling back to windows 23H2.
The game freezes when I´m at a loading screen, I don´t want to format my computer to fix this problem...
Pls fix this bug asap.

Only Microsoft can fix this permanently. They have now acknowledged that it is one of the many bugs in the 24H2 update causing games to freeze under certain conditions.

You could try disabling HDR if it is set under System>Display, as MS have indicated that is one of the potential causes.

You can remove Core 0 and 1 in the process affinity settings. The bug will freeze the game but not the whole computer and you can just kill the game process and restart it.

You have to do this everytime you open the game, or use a process manager like Process Lasso

A couple of tech news articles have stated that turning off Auto HDR can help. Doing that has seemed to help me crash less.

You have like 2 weeks to do a rollback, this is the vast majority of people's problems and it is out of GGG's hands.
Sorry OP but why use a buggy OS? Win 10 works fine, really no reason to be a test guiny pig for microsoft. It seems you deserve your faith.

If you can't rollback, then you'll have to wait till the second Tuesday in January since that's when Microsoft releases updates (every second Tuesday of each month) apparently.

So how do I address this as I don't have HDR enabled?

Bro its not hdr that causes the problem, is the windows update, I explained how to fix it.
I have the windows update and no problems. Why am I special?
