If you like souls like game and ARPG, then this is the game for you.

Yes it is worth $30. Will you like it? We can't say. But what they are selling for $30 is worth it.

If you think you might not like it remember it will be free in a year or so at most and you are beta testing right now.

If you like a game that crashes all the time then pick it up.

If you're a casual player that just wants to explore and have fun no...not at all. If you're into souls like games, then yes.

Just go and play PoE 1 for a bit and make sure you think that it feels fun, you like the varied abilities from skill gems, etc.

If you like it (after finishing the first act or 2nd, you might feel better on whether spend money on PoE 2.

Its like D4 but you crash alot more and stutter fest. but has better skills and gameplay. So do you want a longer more stable smooth game then D4. If you want stutters freezing and relentless crashing with some better skills POE 2.

For now. GGG is nerfing a lot of the difficult stuff to appease the babies that think it's too hard.

Also the comments talking about “stutter fest” and “constant crashes” certainly don’t speak for everyone.
I’ve had very few crashes in the first couple of days and since then it’s smooth sailing for over 100h of playtime.
Not saying that it doesn’t happen for some, but definitely not for everyone.
To me it is everything I wanted d4 to be.

I play both D4 and POE2. They are good games on they own terms. POE2 IS NOT THE DIABLO KILLER despite some comments. POE2 is a lot stable right now and is way more harder then D4, but unfortunately, GGG is making the game more easier (maybe to appeal new players). It's worthy to buy in my opinion.

content wise yes. for ~30 u actually do get a lot of stuff to discover
+ you get 30€ worth of ingame currency, which is important to buy several stash tabs
