ACT III Viper boss

Wow! Nerf it! absolute Joke Not fun at all worse boss i have ever dealt with gets stuck on shooting projectiles of venom so much it ends up taking all hp out and using mostly all charges not even Raid bosses in other games are this hard.

What a JOKE!

Just beat her first try in ACt 3 cruel (lightning arrow/lightning rod and magnetic shot all together, yummy)...what build are you using?

you dont need to reply but read. Besides the weird fire-chaos storm phase, you only have to sidedodge her projectile attack, she does that when she sticks her spear in the ground, thats an indicator. When the surrounding guards start their poke-mechanic, just dodge, dont try to position or look at their glowing spear, just dodge when something tries to poke you.

you have I-FRAMES during dodge roll. Thats the important part that you should learn eventually during this boss fight. You can dodge through harmfull attacks, thats the key in this boss fight.

Viper is a joke. Do not stand in the middle, as spears from both sides will hit you. Stand near one side and move when the spear lights up. When they do the wave of spears just ROLL BRO (you take 0 damage rolling through it) avoid purple. EZ WIN

Killed her on Normal and Cruel she needs a hard nerf

When she poo's all over the screen, where her last AoE hit is safe. You might have a second or 2 before the next one hits but dont let yourself get overwhelmed. When the soldiers all do the poison spear attack from top to bottom or bottom to top, if you roll towards the attack you should miss it.

Viper still needs nerf. Her hovering phase makes her immune to damage. I spent 5 minutes in this fight because of that. It's not fun dodging boss's attacks without chance to hit back because boss immune to damage.

That's also a DPS issue for your build as well

Sure you may have defenses to tank everything for five minutes, but bosses in campaign should NOT be taking five minutes to kill, that's a DPS issue (not a skill issue, big difference)

That's one of the most ez build going on right now. Everything isez with this.

Very good damage, evade based, distance, 2 buttons build. You have everything to make it ez and it's prob the best leveling build atm.

Let's try as something less popular and you'll have another idea about the game ^^

Unless the last ner-I mean patch solved that, I was hitting her with ice comets and stunlocking her. It also hits really hard so it melted her. My minions were standing idle though. Even the casters just crowded around her floating form. It might be a bug?

Edit: I mean when I was hitting her IN the air. My minions refused to attack but my ice comet still hit.

I had the opposite problem where i global'd her so hard on opening she got stuck phasing between hover and spamming poison spears then back to hover, quite frankly ridiculous hope her phases get nerfed.

Honestly I was using it before I even knew it was popular and haven't been following guides

That being said, yeah, it's an easy build to scale (though if Ziz was to look at my gear he'd probably barf)

Strange. I hit her few times with perfect strike and she begins float and even ignite don't do any damage. Today i'll fight her again to check. But I looks like she begin her immune phase every 25% hp.

If your class can ricochet any of your attacks its money in this fight - lightning that bounces off of walls is a huge plus
