Maps just not dropping?

I don't understand why at level 73 i am stuck doing non-stop tier 2 maps. I've dropped two 5's and some 4's. You can't buy any besides tier 1's. What is the point of making an end game revolve around an item you cannot get reliably?

Do you invest in map economy nodes in your atlas? This is key

in the early stage invest more map drop and higher tier atlas then respec when you done on T15/16.

And if you are absolutely desperate you can merge x3 of the same map tier at the crafting station into a map 1 tier higher.
you *could* buy unlimited tier 1 maps from the npc and merge them but its going to get expensive very quickly. Not a good idea

Grab these passives in your atlas passive tree.

Next, use your low tier maps to path to all the nearby towers and unlock them. Avoid running the boss zones.
Use your stones that upgrade the monster tier level of x amount of surrounding zones. Try and get them on the boss zones.
Run your highest tier maps on the juiced up boss zones. Profit.

I do Transmute -> Augmentation -> Regal on all my maps. Alchemy orb your highest tier maps for bosses.
T15 maps, you alchemy and slam them with exalts until you can't anymore.

dude you know you can run boss maps, and the boss are guarantee map drop if you complete map survive and loot - you win

Yep, you gotta pick atlas waystone nodes and do boss maps. Waste low tiers to get to boss maps, use tablets to get +1 monster level and run your highest map tiers on bosses (but make sure you can kill da boss).
