that's all well and good, but 99% of the time, when the game does down, so does the website, which in my opinion is incredibly stupid, so you would have to get updates on X

What? its GGGs official X account. Its the easiest quickest way of them getting info out that doesn't rely on their own services. Its the ideal place to post that message.

I don't have X. Not a social media person. I just go watch a streamer and when they start playing I log in :)
