Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

Anyone think that loot drops are pretty bad currently?
It seems like I get more weapons for mercenary than I do for the class I am currently using. Bosses and stronger enemies at times give meh loot and it isn't really worth it to farm for more better gear. Even opening up chest its usually 2 gold or if you are lucky a amulet.

Luckily the class I am is pretty strong at this point so I haven't quite relied on my weapons and gear being my level as of yet to get me through.

Not saying it should always drop rare items but at least better rewarding to encourage exploring instead of getting lousy weapons or small amounts of gold.

i were just about to create a top about this. i'm currently level 19 and loot is horrendous, almost non-existent. and i KNOW they want me to craft most things but things just DOESNT DROP at all, not even bosses have decent loot, i said decent, not even good!

I like stingy loot. It makes me appreciate a good drop a lot more. Diablo 3 and 4 spoiled everyone, dropping exactly what they need for the class they're playing. I much prefer the Diablo 2 style, where anything drops and you can use anything if you want.

Nope, its great how they have done it. You are super stoked when you get a good drop. Instead of good stuff always dropping and it not mattering.

I prefer it to Legendary vomit at least, helps you to feel the power curve.

Not me personally, I find droops to be k, but that is just my experience have had plenty of yellow droops and I do not even expect to get gear that is explicitly tailored to my build, will have to trade it as knowing all possible combinations it just makes sense.
But I do find it odd that there are so many people who say they do not get any good drops at all.

Right now it’s just not rewarding fighting these bosses which can be a pain depending on the class. It doesn’t really encourage ppl to explore and fight bosses

Overall I'm getting by fine, can't complain. Found a good weapon near the start of act 2 that carried me right through to part way in act 3. I would like a bit more deterministic drops for your first time killing bosses, though, just to give people a little more to work with early on.

Either make them guaranteed to drop some rares, or guaranteed regal drop or something. Just so you can't be totally shafted by poor RNG when you first kill a boss, and also so you can do a bit more of your own rare crafting early on. It's more fun to be able to craft a few rares than to search through a vendor every level up trying to find some, IMO.

Yea it’s not rewarding doing these quest and fighting bosses. Some of these bosses are not a walk in the park either.

And ppl call this dark souls like. I mean imagine all the tough bosses and mobs. You get terrible drops at the end. At least in dark souls and Elden ring you can still get good weapons guaranteed.

I like it because it has me checking the shop more often that I normally would.

if you ever get one i guess, which most likely is not for your class of choosing
I got all my gear via NPC and chaos orb gambling, and im almost reaching lvl 30

Nah scarce loot is better. It makes you appreciate the stuff you pick up and is more fitting for a game about a magical hobo struggling to survive in a death world

Drops feel about right. Lvl 17 and I've picked up 4 uniques so far. Gold upgrades are not very common and makes you appreciate finding one.

Yeah, I'm super stoked when that Orange that drops for me...is actually for my buddy playing with me and we sure as hell know he's never going to give me an Orange I could use that drops for him.
