Yes it is unbeatable. That’s why many of us are in act3 already.
I am not a good PoE player, I just started in Settlers.
I was able to beat Geonor at level 17 using totem and molten blast. That was it, nothing fancy. Just circling around him, dropping totem when it dies, and shooting him with my flaming balls. It isn't terribly hard, just takes some timing practice.
Hope you all give it another shot, it is very doable even with mid skills.
Your normal attack swing does the highest dps. Not the skills. Stop wasting time trying to use skills to dps.
Put support gems on normal swing and dumpster this boss. If you want to beat him you need high dps otherwise he goes crazy below 25% hp.
It's a final boss of an act so it's reasonable for you to farm up a bit. On hardcore, I was lvl19 with 60 cold res, etc. when I beat him and realized that normal swing does the most dps. I used twohanded but you can use what you think is best. One handed is probably easiest but two handed does more dmg.
its a huge thing i think people are ignoring / avoiding. you can see it clearly in the takedown video too. the basic attack DPS is extremely good and a lot of classes should be leaning on it for single target. It does a ton of stun damage and should be your main single target DPS most likely once your totems and aoes and stuff are down.
this like MANY of the bosses in this game are easiest from 0 range because they do attacks and kicks instead of their kill moves. just have to use your things. Use your block, use your auto attack, use your roll. so much easier.
if your gear is awful and/or you need more time you can always farm the bosses before him for upgrades. i recommend killing the executioner a few times and starting again and full clearing the manor for exp/maybe a better weapon.
the wolf form is also very vulnerable to armor break.
For mechanics dodge the ice, recharge the flask with the adds
Not a flex just saying this is doable.
