I'm not going to real all the replies so I don't know what the responses have been, but this is Early Access... if something is that far out of whack, they will fix it.

Some people are used to EA being like a a few days head start over everyone else, but this one is basically a beta and should last for months. That's because they are looking for the issues to make the game better.

I'm sure you're frustrated, when I get there I will probably be too because I'm definitely not an OP gamer, but before condemning the game over boss difficulties, maybe just take a breath and realize this is not the final version and maybe send the devs your feedback so they can consider your input.

Hope you know I'm trying to be understanding and supportive and not trying to be dismissiive.

I defently would say skill issue, act 1 endboss pwned me sohard i was rage learning his mechanis and used counterplays. so after 5 deaths he was managable. The bosses are defenetly gear and braincell checks. good luck.

You obviously didnt watch a single video from the devs who explain time and time again that they decided to make PoE2 because they wanted to make changes which would make a very different game so they could not integrate it into PoE1.
PoE1 is still up and will get new content, so if you like PoE1-style combat more, you can still play it. I am enjoying PoE2 immensely so far and find the early game superiour to PoE1 in every way.

he has 217 hours in PoE 1 and is surprised the game didnt change on the difficulty on bosses? not gonna tell him we are in Early Acess and balancing is for sure a changing thing in the next months

Your right not every one can. Thats why theres none hardcore mode so you can grind gear till you win. cause you can ultimately just grind moar gear till your stronger just like in PoE1 Diablo2 and every other Arpg.

This is LITERALLY the definition of a skill issue. You refuse the new mechanics. Refuse to solve the problem. Like i get not being a fan of the new mechanics, i personally love them. But i can get some people like to stand and just press the skill buttons and have the power fantasy. . . But honestly they made it like a billion % clear this game was gunna be harder and have more mechanics in dam close too every promo video dawg.

I still can’t understand why anyone would waste their time gittung gud in this game in the first place. If they’re going to ♥♥♥♥ out a Souls game, people may as well go play one of the actual finished Souls games. From the sounds of it, everyone is better off waiting for a year before trying anything in this game. Nothing I’ve seen so far is convincing me that anyone should even care about being good in a game that’s currently worse than D4.

Games are supposed to Games are meant to be challenging—that's where the fun lies. Without a sense of difficulty or progression, the experience feels hollow. What's the point of playing if everything is handed to you on a silver platter? It’s like skipping to the end of a book or movie; you miss the journey, which is the most rewarding part. Honestly, it feels like some players would be perfectly content if developers gave them an overpowered, max-level character right at the start, just to breeze through the game. But where's the fun in that? I just died 15 times on a boss and had to rethink my entire strategy, tweaking skills and abilities to finally beat him. That struggle made my victory feel earned and my character feel stronger. If games just handed out easy wins, where’s the satisfaction?
