Played for 6 hours, it’s ok

I am new to poe, only played diablo games before, but i was waiting for poe2 for years

And now when i played for 6 hours…idk

I like the visuals, world design and mobs

But the game is so slow and boring, Idk what is going on

Diablo 4 leveling and itemization felt so much faster and better

I am only level 8 in poe2 after 6 hours and i do no damage

The game is definitely not what everyone was hyping it up to be, but i hope it will get better

3 hours of playtime lvl 13. You just don't understand the games mechanics. Watch some guides or something to get an understanding of the game. Diablo 3-4 is casual Kindergarden compared to poe

i am a casual gamer, and yes i agree i don;t understand poe 2 so far

but as a casual gamer it feels a bit too slow for me and does not explain things well (

Compared to POE 1, which I have about 1300 hours in, this is a huge disappointment. The changing of the formula to dark souls crap making my sorceress dodge roll is incredibly lame. And yes, the progression is way off now, does not feel like I am getting stronger at all, especially compared to progression in POE 1. Such a monumental let down so far.

It's a ramp game, it starts really, really slow, then ramps into lightning speed. Not trying to defend it though, I never thought the insanely slow start added anything to either game. Was hoping they would have taken it out for 2. But for anyone who can hang in there until their base attack and movement speed get brought up, it's a lot of fun.

Yeah I agree i have no idea what is going on

Maybe i am too slow or maybe the game doesn’t tell me well what I should level up

Idk, i can only compare it to diablo and diablo was much much friendlier

I was just expecting poe2 to be much faster and for its skills to be more impactful

Pick ranged class. Witch with minions will get you far very quickly. Gather uniques leveling items, and use those to push to 40-50 on a new char

That's how it should be. If you're strong from the start there's no point in progression.

Its nothing to do with guides or not understanding the game.

IT FEELS CLUNKY AS HELL.

Even Grim Dawn feels better than this but they have a excuse of using a old engine POE2 does not have that.

I am playing as merc and it is just awful, select skill and than left click and than you have to reload and if you switch skills you have to release left click so you cant even have a proper smooth skill chains. Also you cant use dodge while reloading so the biggest mechanics is completely broken as cooldown bassed classes are unaffected

It feels like I am playing D2 again but even that was able to handle it better.

you waited for years to play poe2 but never thought to play poe 1? just go play poe 1. they are VERY different games and i think everyone that played poe 1 will agree that it is a much better game than poe 2.

I don’t like how poe1 looks visually

Yeah, you're part of the problem here and why the game probably won't get any better... making excuses for a game that's mid at best.

PoE 1 and 2 are a slow burn, they unfold 6 hours is nothing. Speaking in Metaphors D4 is a Store bought cake does it taste ok yes? You buy you get a slice and eat it right away. PoE is a homemade cake it tastes much better but takes longer till you can get a slice, at 6 hours in you just mixed the ingredients and are about to stir them. It will always feel slow at the start.
