why is down load so slow :(

as the title say the down load is so slow i have been downloading the game since last night but my max speed is only 1.5

I download at 786mb /sec what are you talking about?
Go on steam parameters and try switch to a other servers near you.
Stop windows updates. They take priority and waste others downloads.
Reboot to clear cache and temps folders. If you got no space in temps folders you cant DL ♥♥♥♥.
Are you downloading on SATA hard drive or SSD? Sata are slow.
Are you in WIFI ? If yes Wifi got a maximum DL capacity. take a wire and be a real gamer.

It took me just under 15 minutes to download the full client. I did limit the download speed as there were others in my household streaming movies so we had to share the available bandwidth.

Are you in a good download region? Sometimes if you change the region you are in you'll get better download speeds.

I had 26.7 mb/sec average. Steam sometimes restricts me to 6 though.

Albeit if you have fast internet, it might be faster to simply download the game once released, rather than preloading and then unpacking, then downloading then unpacking.

heres a serious tip. try changing your download region to somewhere else that is close to you, steam will have to restart, but you should see a speed increase, and if you dont, change it back and see if its any better. Sometimes the steam databases limit you and doing this will refresh your connection.

Try connecting through a VPN, if it's a routing issue a VPN might fix it. Routing issues aren't something you can typically solve on your end, but you can cope using a VPN. There was a 3-4 month period last year where I couldn't download anything off steam unless I used a VPN, and then I got full speeds. Also, if your ISP throttles certain websites and doesn't tell you (it's possible in the USA, and maybe other countries too), a VPN can also get around that.
