Stash tabs and stuff
I don't really follow the hype or read about stuff about new games as i believe it ruins it when it comes time to actually play it. But I've noticed people saying they'll get stash tabs that they bought in PoE. Is this real?

Yes. It's been stated by GGG ever since they announced that PoE 2 was going to be a standalone game back in mid-2023.

You get everything (eventually) you bought in PoE 1. Stash tabs, cosmetics, pets, everything.

Yeah I don't follow the hype either.

Basically as a new player to series, not to games, I make you look new to video games. But new to PoE.

Stash hype, its lots of stash. Thats not cool. Just makes me think this game gonna be hoarding a lot. I'm not looking forward to item management and hoarding, collecting all the junk.

I'm gonna be selling on the tradepost or merchant or regular trades.who got time to hoard.
Trying to get to lvl 100 not trying to get all my stash full and fully hoarded, who cares.

I played Diablo2 back when it was NEW, when it was the thing.
Hoarding, nah don't remember that. I do remember trading. Trade with a purpose. Careful of scammers.

If hoarding with tons of inventory slots is the hype of the game, I might be disappointed. I'm here for a fun game, not no item management item collecting and what not.

Only thing hoarding if anything is super rare type loot, if it aint super rare where its worth lots, its gonna get sold. aint got time to manage junk in my stashes.

This is possibly the worse type of mindset a new player to POE can have. How you compose your reply screams "I have experience with a lot of arpgs and I'll be fine". I'll come back how you're doing after 1 month out of curiosity.

Why would people who hoard somehow stop you from not hoarding? But yeah if you're trying to be efficient, there's this thing called floor is lava when you're in your hideout and not killing monsters.

Just play the game however you want dude. And yes trading is a big thing. Hoarding useless ♥♥♥♥ is indeed inefficient gameplay but again you do you.

Stash tabs = Yes (If the items the tab holds exist in PoE2)
Guild tabs = No :steamsad:

Yes, but not all microtransactions are available to use yet. Many recent MTXs and all stash tabs will be initially available, but due to a massive amount of microtransactions in Path of Exile 1, we’re still in the process of adding them all to Path of Exile 2, so many of them will be marked as ‘unavailable’ in your cosmetics tab. During Early Access we will be working through the backlog and making them all available.

Yes, in Path of Exile 2, players can purchase stash tabs, which are additional inventory spaces for storing items. These stash tabs are part of the game's microtransaction system. They can help organize your items, such as adding tabs for specific types of loot (currency, crafting materials, maps, etc.), making inventory management much easier. Anything you've bought in PoE 1, including stash tabs, will carry over to the new game, so you won't need to purchase them again.

It's important to note that while stash tabs enhance your experience, they are entirely optional and do not affect gameplay itself. If you prefer not to spend money on them, you can still play the game without issue, although managing your items may take a bit more effort without the extra space.

How much do stash tabs cost? It says the early access bundle gives 300 of the paid currency- is that enough to get extra storage?

PoE 1 and 2 share a single account, it doesn't matter where you buy the tabs or cosmetics.
