Anything more will be just getting scripted/macroed.
Its step towards automation. Ppl will be just forced to use macros for optimal performance. PoE already went thru this "right direction" with flasks...
I'm just not aware of slower-paced aRPGs, that seems like an oxymoron to me. You got any examples? We're talking about the endgame of PoE2 here, after all, and I'm not aware of any arpg that doesn't have you clean screens in seconds by the time you hit the endgame.
If a player puts down a flame wall you can interact with that shoot lightning through it and it will buff your skill , a lot of interactions like that
Crpg used to mean computer rpg a long time ago , now it just means classic rpg
The thing is, devs in previews and trailes shows you pretty things and how they want you to play the game. Players ALWAYS goes different way. Im pretty sure we will end up with either stacking for 1/2 skills, or macroing spell cascades. No1 likes modern WoW master piano "rotations".
