We'll definitely be able to play within 24 hours after the launch.

But the first queue will be huge that's for sure lol.

Prepare to go to bed real late, and by late I mean early morning. (Depending on where you live of course.)

It's hard to say for sure, but if PoE 2 has a million players on day one, there's likely a 50-60% chance the servers will be stable for most players, though expect some issues like wait times or crashes. GGG has experience with launches, so things should improve quickly after the initial rush.

Login - yes. Play at day 1- depends where you live, if the games released at 10pm in your region, the answare is probably no.

GGG should have lots of experience with huge launches, so it should very much be possible for them to have a decent launch.

i think the fact that its being released on a friday is enough to doom the game through the weekend easily. apparently pc alone has sold 1.7 million keys. we are definitely cooked.

i expect it will be as good/bad as most POE 1 league starts.

Huge queues and people getting disconnected once in game and having to re-queue, will last for an hour or two at most then everyone gets to play.

It'll probably be pretty bad throughout the opening weekend. On Monday things will calm down and normalise.

I ithink its going to be much more insane. poe1 player peak was at 230k. id imagine at least 3-4x that on friday afternoon

20 percent is generous and optimistic.

Perhaps far too generous and optimistic....

But, GGG has had a loooooong time to work on POE 1, maybe they've got this in the bag now.

jonathan rogers in an interview said they have enough space for 1 million players day one....with console launch on same day...that may be cutting it close but i hope it all works out.

logging in is a high chance. But staying online is the real question.

im just going to set my expectations low so im not too disappointed. i was shocked when d4's launch went smoothly, im hoping the monetary barrier will be enough to leave the majority of the barbarians at the gates lol
