"WE WANT THE OLD VERSION, YOU KNOW YOU ARE WRONG THE NUMBERS, REEEEE"
- Devs give them the old version as local play
"WAHHH, WE KNEW YOU WERE WRONGGG. REEEEEE"
Like, shut the f-uck up. Take your game, go play, and shut up. You realize that if this was a AAA dev you would have received nothing and you would have had to suck it the f-uck up. Be happy with what you get and stop complaining. Every thread is just the same bulls-hit. Let the devs do their job and create the game they want, not what you want. Imagine being so self-centred that you would think a business would create a game specifically for YOU, and not the game they want to make. Take your loss and move on.
As for the other part. People are perfectly fine with devs making the game they want when the game is in development. Once you've sold the product you do not just completely overhaul the game into something else. Twice.... If they just made different games or separate sequels, they would have three games in their catalogue instead of one. And people who wanted to play what they paid for would be happy.
There was a time in business when people would not do ♥♥♥♥ like that, or publicly down talk their customers. Cause it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ obvious what the results would be.

In his heavily moderated Discord? Probably a minority upset there because he just bans folks who don't share the same mindset that come to post out of frustration (Just join the server and lurk). They see the "Frustration" and anger and take it literally, rather than READ it and have an internal discussion that is constructive. We also see these terrible PR posts that sound so unprofessional like some gamer nerd is at the helm.
How are folks hard to please? This game has went through like four major iterations. Multiple complete wipes of Multiplayer/Solo now and the surprise revamp. Similar to something like CS and CS 2 or OW and OW 2 that nobody asked for. I think someone *You* is a little young and not paying attention.
Also the discussion about the Vocal Minority on the Discord is just that. It's bull. When you run a discord that is larger (and I have Massive CE Guild Discord/and/A Successful Boosting Discord I run with WoW) and you quite literally mute/ban folks for having opinions that don't align, well you get them venting in areas that they can. IE: Steam Forums in the context of Hero Siege.
H e l l o? Reality?
Also AAA Titles (And we can make examples all day. Diablo 4 with Blizzard 3.0 has drastically changed and still not in a good spot at all, EA's last Battlefield release is also now way different because people were like "WTF This isn't BF?", B4B and Tencent... quite literally changed the game entirely, re-wrote all the decks/cards and then slapped a FULL DECK Start which changed the game massively) will often try something new and when it goes south try to work with the community. These three examples I made on the fly are just quick examples with real AAA Development Companies at the helm.
Why you are so avid about rambling on like some teen is beyond me.
If this Dev would revert changes, or as we seen allow us to play the older version. Yeah, he'd resolve a lot of issues. Kind of like how Hell Let Loose was sold for years, then the company sold off and the new folks changed Locomotion to where people were faster than tanks! Was astronomically a bad decision that caused issues everywhere. Changed the games Genre from Semi-Mil Sim to a CoD/BF style prone diving mess. The customers discussed it for quite some time and they reverted the changes.
This happens a lot and considering you have a few more games than me on this platform and you DO NOT notice this stuff? Speaks volumes about how you really pay attention to the details with things. So again, probably just some young little consumer.
people post these two screenshots everywhere. well, sure it looks like the dev is pure evil xD but its just human, reactions like this happen. its not professional, but whatever. could also have been disappointment cuz 80% of the people all sh!tstorming and suddenly hating them, when they thought everyone was excited. they maybe expected them to like 2.0. frustration, stress, pushing responsibility away at first because too much pressure, not able to accept own mistakes, not good in handling critics, im no psychologist, so many reasons why people act and write things like that^^
who knows. but they also have feelings. now they, in the end, finally gave us the opportunity to pick and play the old version, and also listened to many other complains.
so i think its not fair to continue blaming and being mean. the last weeks were enough i think. its cool they did this. maybe we just gonna need to treat them with more love. we should tryhard not to criticize too much and better sound nice and kind if we do, so we dont trigger evil behavior :P .... better make fun out of it now. sh!t happens. i guess devs would be happy to get a bit of nice feedback now instead of us staying cold, ironic or sarcastic. instead of being like "giving us the old game back was the minimum you could do, i dont say thanks for that".... cmon people, u can be better than this!
i believe in you, like i believe in god!!!! (i dont)
we are one!!!!! peace, love and ***!!!! lets all come together in harmony!!! yeah! im a naive empathic dreamer!
i deleted my negative review for now, even though online multiplayer is missing in old version yet. lets see whats coming next.
I was more referring to other posts as well, I've been reading the replies on the last few posts and it's all the same thing. It's disheartening to see, honestly. I get it, it was one game, then it changed to another. But we are talking about like a $10 dollar game. Not something you paid a crazy obscene amount for. I get the issue, I just don't understand why they can't be like "That sucks, oh well, I got my money's worth." and move on. Instead of commenting on every post and saying the same thing over and over about the changes.
That would be awesome. I liked 1.0 well enough but the OG arena shooter was the most fun, you guys really had something special with that. You guys should have just made sequels, you would have made more money and wouldn't be in the current debacle...
That was the game that I enjoyed. The beta version published still isnt it. I dislike the ARPG Path this game went down
