Equipment drop

Does anyone knows exactly what affects the quality of the equipment dropped? Difficulty obviously, but what else? Does the wave/act has an influence? Does classic mode drops better loots in late acts or does siege mode drops better loots than clasic mode when you reach very high waves?

That actually a great question.. So far i just assumed that "higher act and difficulty = better loot".. I wonder what is the truth.

Higher difficulty, deninitely, but higher act/wave I'm not sure at all in the end. After playing a lot my best drops were from act 3-4, so mid-game (I had the most legendaries here), and I didn't see any increase in the quality of my loots in acts 5-6. Maby it's just bad luck, but after so much runs it would be strange.

I'd say difficulty only.
Don't know if there's a difference between classic and siege though.

That's what I think too, which leads us to the inevitable question..;why the hell should I try to go to satan whenb I can get much easier/faster rewards by farming act 1?

Assuming this is like any other RNG related game, difficulty would be the only thing that would dictate the drops.

No legendarys on inferno difficulty, that's what I can say.

edit:
I killed like tons of inferno monster, but the droprate seems to be like 0,001%.

Lilhomer>> I got a samurai lvl 86, and i never dropped a single legendary with him. Heck, with all my character combined, i only dropped 1, on normal difficulty. ( so quickly replace. :( )

Drop rate is actually close to that but you'll find legendary items in inferno.

I got lucky and found 5 with my marks in hell if i'm not mistaken, i lost three though and one is my fault.

Well, equipment drop doesn't interest me anymore since...all my inventory has been deleted (with 4 orange legendaries, especially 2*hellfire items which I based my damage on, great, now it's back to farm nightmare mode to restuff for inferno x). Good toknow they fixed it :p
ps : I know it is off-topic...but I have to share my frustration xD
ps 2 : all joking aside, I'm not even mad, I know fixing these bugs is hard and devs are working on it...but I'm still frustrated x)
