question about gears

hello, im currently in Hell 2 and have enough runes for updating some of my gears to lvl 100 runewords but white and grey gears that drop are only up to lvl 52.

what mode does it start dropping past lvl 52 gears? or do they drop on special dungeons only?

PS. currently playing on local i dunno if that affects the gear drops

Hello o/ I don't think that level is very important, it just matters that the item you will use as a base is common and S tier

oh, so regardless if they're just lvl 52 as long as i put the correct runes for the runewords the gear will automatically be lvl 100?

sorry, i'm still confused on making them and dont want to waste the runes(it was so hard farming them hehe)

No probably not every runeword level increases that much. I don't even think it changes. I understand your effort to make it 100. The number of sockets and runes should be equal. You should put the runes in order. The base should be common/white(or grey?) Preference use S tier common item for base

Got it, thanks for the help! Just noticed on crafting that you can add sockets on grey gears which saves time hunting for new ones.
