Black Tower question

So I've got a quest for the black tower, but I can't get through it because the 2 gaps are too far to jump across and I can't fly. Is there some other way of getting across to the other side that I'm missing or is the quest impossible to do without the ability to fly?

Are you using controller? As far as i've heard this problem only seem to be something related to how your pointer is working on controller. On mouse and keyboard you want to put your mouse just over the gap and press space to jump over it.

This game should remove "Full Controller Support" from the store page and put "Partial Support".

To jump over the gap, you will NEED to use KB/M.

Ahh ok. Yeah I was using a controller and no matter how I tried to angle myself, my character would just jump in place so got me thinking it couldn't be jumped over. Didn't cross my mind to try using the mouse/keyboard since I figured it would've done the same thing. I'll give that a shot and see how it goes.

That´s a lie. Press down your left Stick and a circle will appear with a cursor. move it with the right stick and VOILA you will jump farther!!

Oh I didn't know that's what that was for. I always wondered what that circle did that appeared around me whenever I pushed the L3 button. I already made it across that gap using the mouse/keyboard but I'll keep that in mind next time I come across another large gap.

I've tried this only works for gaps that are not super wide... The super wide gaps still requires keyboard/mouse.

It is a terrible spec to force this kind of operation. I think “Partial Support” is fine, because it is normal to think that some other ability is needed.

Jump length and aoe cast distance should be an individually adressable option. I don't like having long jumps and not being able place an aoe above my own head.
