About the paragon levels
bare with me on this. Im not that good at explaining. But i was wondering if the paragon levels is based on the experienced gained or the actuall levels. i mean in diablo the first paragon level isnt like leveling from 70 to 71. its need alot less exp. its like standalone levels. if it was based on how many levels u have above 150 it would be more efficient to level all character slots to 160 then just farm with 1 character on agony to get exp. but if it was exp gained that contributed to the paragons it would be the other way around. is it only me hoping its exp gained instead of farming every character slot ?

i hope u understand me xD

We will make them as "Hero Levels" which work like "prestiges". One paragon level takes same amount of EXP as getting level 150. So every time you re-maxlevel your hero you will gain permanent stat points and ofcourse (x) after your level.

one more question tho. if u level one character to like 200 will the hero levels be on all the other characters or just the one that was that leveld?
make that 2 questions. if every character share the same paragon levels (just like diablo).
will the a lvl 1 character have the paragon levels or just when u reach 150 ?

Levels will be tied to every hero, so it wont be an overall hero level.

thats really disapointing in my opinon. so if u are gonna start a new character its like starting from scrap and all your hard effort has been for nothing. i mean if u get bored of that character. if u would do the prestige benefits % effecient it could work like diablo.

Specially when u are gonna change skills of every class. then if u dont like ur character that u have leveled alot anymore bcs of the skill change or if u think its sucks. u got all that time farming with that one wasted. just saying,

I think what Vex is saying that your future paragon levels will be figured out by doing this... Add all of your characters levels together then divide by 150. As well, all characters will be the same level, meaning that regardless of what character you are playing on, you will keep your progress from other characters, but on that new character as well. Ex: I play on my Marksmen and go from level 121-122, then all characters are now level 122. I'm not sure if what I said is right, but it is what I inferred from what Vex posted and tried to explain it more so that you understood what he said. Once again, not sure if what I said is right, this is just what I thought what Vex meant, and would also like clarification if possible.

I think people forget you can get to ~ lvl 80 in about 30 minutes of someone power leveling you. Not really an issue here. However, the prestige levels will hopefully take time and effort to get :D

We are not really sure yet how we will do it, we are not even at the stage of working on it yet. Now working on the mana system and new classes.

It's beyond lame and crappy design that hero levels are not shared across all characters of the account. That's largely why my friends have quit.
