Low fps at good rig.

Hello,

I have over 80h in Hero Siege and never faced this problem before.
After a few weeks without checking those new updates, the new dlc came out and I bought it.

For my surprise, even while in the city, I got low fps and the game is sooo slow. As I mentioned, this never happened to me before.

My pc specs:

I7 2600k
16gb ddr3
HD 6870 (1gb vr).

Some facts:

- I always play online, even when I want to play solo.
- Tried fullscreen, window'ed, low graph, fps 30 and 60.
- Single player has the same problem.
- According to the fps meter of Steam I have 30-45 fps but it feels like 8.

Is that a known bug or am I missing something? Is there a workaround?

posting mostly for notifications. I have a similar problem.
Low fps on some levels, or when I spam all waves at once.

I7-4720HQ @2.6GHz
8gb ram
GeForce GTX970m (3gb vr)

Same as OP. Always online, tried different settings, even all settings to the lowest.

i had the problem where it feels like the game is running in slow motion or low fps but i found a temporary fix. Download Bandicam if you don't already have it and simply press the record hotkey for a second or so while in game then stop recording and it should go back to normal. didn't work with Fraps btw.

I just have Battlenet launcher open in backround and everything runs smooth too for me c:

I have no idea why, maybe it was just a coincidence but it worked properly in my pc.

Awhile back when the "SpawnWave" feature was implemented the devs mentioned that the slow motion effect was due to the game engine or whatever program it is they used to make the game. It is out of their hands as far as I know. My memory is really fuzzy on this but I'm pretty sure that's what was said. So yea, if a dev could clear this up for us that would be great.

Funny fact i heard that some other games with the same Engine got similar Fps problems recently so well c:

The FPS problem is not about SpamWave or something like it. I have FPS drop at town, with no monster. With pirate, you can drop gold just hitting the Dummies, and after a few seconds (20-30) doing it, the FPS drops to 30.

I did some investigations about it, if the developers wanna more info add me to chat.

The game was fine like 2 months ago, playable even with my low spec laptop. But ever since those new updates it's unplayable for me. :( Even with better pc specs. And they keep adding more DLCs
