Tips 4 New Player?

Just got his with all dlc. Any tips? So far i have been using the samuri class.

Start with a ranged champion like Marksmen, they are easier to level as you can fight monsters without being in melee range. Once you're a little better at the game consider a melee fighter.

On hit or upon firing your weapon skills are invaluable against monsters that are range resistant if you're ranged.

Don't be discouraged if you can't finish act 1 with a fresh character, you will die alot, you will level pretty fast and find gear to help you complete acts with ease as you progress.

Play with an Xbox controller or some kind of peripheral because its a much smoother way to move around dodging arrows and bullets.

A couple of things i would say

At first use keys on chests, getting some blues or if lucky a legendary ( orange) or mythic ( purple) can be a hugh boost instead of opening gates to shop or going into crypes.

Even on normal i found farming say act 1 after you can run it easy can make rest of normal go better

Befor posting some links for you i will try lost some relics/ some special affixes on gear that i found useful on any class. This normal due to me playing what i think some call ON-HIT builds.

Just a heads up there are 166 relics in total and you can have 35 on you at once.

1. Doom Flute +50 swiftness/ attack speed
2. Storm dagger +45 swiftness and chance to smite everything
3. Ankh If you die you will resurrent ONCE ( you keep your other relics)
4. Sausage +100 stamina ( means more hp incase you get hit)
5. Whip + 100 swiftness
6. The holy Bible +50 stamina and flight
7. Token of luck Turns all potions into positive
8. Frostmourne +40 swiftness + 40 str and chance to do a ice shockwave
9. butchers knife +30 str +10 movement speed and chance to do a blood shockwave
10. Holy water gives you immortality for a short period of time ( for me no matter what a must have as the only active relic i get)
11. Razer Blade +150 swiftness -20 str -20 armor - 20 stam
12. Magnet Sucks all coins and all keys to player ( isnt a must have but good to have)
13. Satan's eye chance to do a hellfire attack ( does a cone shape attack where you are facing when it goes off)
14. Homing shots Makes attacks homing ( not sure if this just for range or melee as well and On-Hit Items)
15. Large beer Gives chance to barf stomach acid around you ( with high swiftness this procs so much and gives you a area where any melee units get damaged or die)

Active Effects
(Effects which are triggered by you)

Hellfire - your hits unleash a fireburst in front of you
Coldsnap - your hits can freeze enemies
Hex - your hits might hex (turn them into apples) your enemies
Bash - your hits knock back enemies
Deadly Poison - your hits become venomous
Critical Strike - by chance your hits inflict bonus damage
Lightning Fury - release a ball of lightning when you hit your enemy
Windfury - your hits might summon a small whirlwind in front of you
Poison Nova - your hits have chance to cast poison nova around you

Passive Effects(Effects which are triggered by your enemies)
Holy Freeze - chance to freeze enemies if you get hit
Holy Shock - chance to smite your enemies if you get hit
Odin's Fury - chance to knock back enemies in random directions if you get hit
Dragon's Scale - chance to emit 4 meteors from your character in shape of a cross
Giant's Seal - stun all enemies on screen when you get hit
Teleport - teleports you to a random place on the map if you get hit
Greed - drop some gold when you get hit
Shockwave -?
