You must both have items, because you can't trade for free, he has to give you something (even if it's some crap item, just for the trade to work)
My buddy gave me that charm with +1400 armor. :D
-Any + to specific class skills (in green) will boost the skill of a another character that would be in the same talent slot eg item gives my samurai + 1 to focus skill, would give a viking traded to + 1 in seismic slam.
- Wepons cannot be traded apparently: tried giving my ranger friend a wep i got on my pally with decent stats, when he got it it apparently gave no stats. Not sure if this is intended or a bug.
- items shown in trade are shown in the order you picked them up. so lets say i pick up one good item and then a bunch of junk. If i wanna trade the good item to my buddy all i have to do is drop that item on the ground and pick it up, now its at the top of the trade list. Anything you sell will leave blanks in the trade "list" so if youve got a lot to trade just drop em and then pick them all up to put them higher in que.
I'm really stoked they added trading in and while it wasnt explained how to use it, having figured it out it seems pretty simple. shoutout to vaca for the initial trade menu opening info.
