No happy with the direction the game went.
Less experience gained overall.
This "Difficulty" increase the developer talked about is literally just increasing enemy numbers to a point, where they make little to no sense.
-> I had just reached Nightmare and everything one hits me while not taking damage. After hours of wasted grind in the last Normal zones I had no more issues on Normal. Now, 3hrs in Pumpkin Patch later, I am still a one hit to literally everything, while some enemies still don't take any damage (100k single target dps, 1m aoe dps)
It just feels too slow for how early it is into the game. And the only "difficulty" the game offers so far is a butt load of on-death effects with no visual clarity.
Big disappointment so far.
You always have a small chance to drop an item with one or more affixes, that are 1 tier higher. Which increases the level requirement.
So the game is slower, movement is slower, dungeons are a mess, balancing is all over the place and so on and so forth. Everything the devs improved starting from HS 2.0 S1 they messed up again. That's just my oppinion and the game is still a nice game to kill time with but it seems to be not able to find a sweet spot.
In the past most people liked the arcady style of HS and a lot of people went mental with the 2.0 changes. I don't know why they used S2 and S3 to undo the mess that HS 2.0 was and now they reverse engineer the game back to a slow slug fest.
