How to save your chars and crystals

Hey maties,

since there is no cloud to save your singleplayer chars and your stats, you may face a loss of all chars when re-installing your computer. There is one easy solution for this problem:

[Win7 / 8 / 8.1] Simply go to C:\Users\"Your username"\AppData\Local\Hero_Siege and save those files. They contain your chars and the items you bought in the shops, so that you do not have to start from scratch after formatting your system. "Your username" is the name you use to login to Windows, without the " ".
After reinstalling your system, copy your backup files to the exact same path you took them from. After starting the game it will read those files and their content and all your saves will be back as usual.

P.S.: Devs, if you don't like this thread for any reason, delete it. ;) Don't want to do any harm but aid people since many are reporting deletion of their chars. And since you probably wont insert microtransaction, there can't be much harm done. As said, delete it if necessary.

TY for the info this will help alot of peeps. It would suck if you have a high lvl char you have to start from scratch cuzz the DLC is messed up big time and you have to re-install.

seems like the characters do actually save, it will show them deleted after you die when you first make that character, but if you reselect same character add same name it will re add the stats and everything for that char....now when i die with that character it doesnt delete aanything from it

@Norman Bates: Maybe you write that this works for Windows 7, too. And that the people have to copy the backup files to the folder C:\Users\"Your username"\AppData\Local\Hero_Siege" when they had to reinstall the game, for any reason.

But for now, lets start a poll. Everybody who quotes this post and writes "+1" along with it, it counts as a yes vote. If we can get around 10 yes votes, ill sticky it. Because im not going to sticky it if the players feel like they dont need this "method" to save.

They don't feel they neeed this method to save ?? lol there isn't any other way to keep you chars and it's full progress when you have to re-install the game/computer !!!
