how does it work - can't even exit the town map

I don't actually own this game but I read a lot of the reviews here on steam. It seems like it's completely broken and glitched. If you can't get it to work then you should consider a refund.

Take care that you don't play too much of the game though.

When you start the game you can only enter the ACT 1 in normal difficulty, and multiplayer does work.

The bad reviews are about a few changes to the game, nothing new players even would notice because they haven't played the old version. A few players didn't like the implement of mana. In earlier stages you were able to spam whatever skill you'd like without any mana cost at all......

Yeah a big amount of reviews mentioned the mana system that's true, but there are also several reviews that mention buggy and glitched multiplayer.

I'm not trying to argue about a game I don't even own, because obviously I wouldn't know what I'm talking about, but I think it's disconcerting that there are several reviews that mention broken Multiplayer.

yeah multiplayer does not work as well as singlplayer yet as they made the multiplayer second and they have had a few annoying problems and stuff to figure out for multiplayer

and the intial release of the mana system was not as bad what some ppl were complaining about it was new and ppl had to adjust a little bit to it though some ppl did not want to even do that aparently hence the complaining about it

then more recently they changed the mana costs which intially ended up being to high and now at it's at a more reasonable lvl i think

so yeah i have had this game for maybe a year now i'm not sure exactly but i have seen the game change quite a fair bit like when multiplayer was still more or less an idea and VERY early wip to now when multiplayer is working but fineky some and there still working on it and also when there were no dlcs yet to it's been that long i have had the game for

also you should just go into the act 1 portal to start or did you not notice them along the top of the area or perhaps the odd bug in a certain case involving multiplayer that it was bugged

idk exactly but it's multiplayer and invloving computers were odd things can happen with only certain setups and effect nothing else some things are that picky and they can only test so many of them

The only problem with multiplayer is the people who don't know how to get it going and why, but still complain about it.

Servers are peer to peer just like Minecraft's and Terraria's, so you either port forward or you use Hamachi if you want to host.

Some servers are put on the server list even if it's host has not port portforwarded.

It works, people just don't want to put the little effort it needs.

Yup, multiplayers work good, even with a bad internet i can host a game :) (around 15ms to all members joining)

yeah or that at least you know what the problem was

and yeah the multiplayer had a bit of things that were off kinda but i have not played multiplayer with someone else after they did more work on the multiplayer it still worked fairly well before and i'm sure it works even better now though
