Pyromancer Aura
Anyone having trouble getting the pyromancer aura to work? Iv'e clicked on it, hotkeyed it, etc. but it just doesn't activate no matter what i do.

if you on keyboard+mouse - click on RMB icon bottom left - then click on aura to activate/deactivate it...

Thanks for the tip but that doesn't work at all for me.

Ok so i saw your post and decided to create a pyromancer to test your issue, i'm about an hour in lv12 and it works fine.

So here's what to do, hover your cursor over the right mouse button icon on your toolbar at the bottom of the screen, left click it to bring up the available skills, then simply left click the aura to slot it into it's own keybind slot, which then will auto activate.

Right now i'm lv7 scorching aura for 29 fire damage per sec. I also bound lv2 breath of fire to rmb, and lv1 hydra to Q, i also bought lv1 blazing trail & pheonix flight, i don't use them, but they all add %dmg to scorching aura.

I invested my stats each lv as 2 energy, 1 intelligence and 1 vitality, seems to me that pyro is a burst dps character, and needs the mana sustain for boss fights.

I never played pyromancer before, but i'm applying as much %fire skill damage, and gonna max lv the 3 skills that buff the scorching aura, i'm keeping breath low lv but stlll using it as my main source of damage, seeing as the mana cost increases per level but the damage only goes up by 3, you get more damage from additive sources from gear and overall skill bonuses, why burn your mana for 60dmg and 19 perk points when you can cast for virtually free with high energy and get the damage higher from other skills?

I just got the pyromancer to lv28, keeping with my strategy, once i got scorching aura to lv17, i started investing in the fire shield, because now it's essentially double stacking AND buffing, each lv of fire shield is about another 15dps, as well as buffing aura by 8%.

Everything not a boss is dying in 1-2 hits from the combined aura and shield dmg, however the main issue is bosses, but my backup plan is hydras, because each lv up they gain 1s duration and about 15-20dmg increase, and i noticed right now, lv1 hydra with my stats, i can summon 10 of them dealing 25dmg before the first one despawns as the 11th is summoned, if i raise the skill to lv20, that should be nearly a 30s duration, and if i raise my cast rate to nearly 100%, if there's no limitation in play, i should be able to summon 60ish hydras dealing around 320-380dmg each, that is so much multiplicative damage, that's essentially 18k dps minimum at full summon count, as opposed to roughly 300dps from the aura+shield.
