Namely, the large balls that the green and purple statues throw (or certain enemies when they die), if they hit you before splitting, right on top of your head, it'll kill you which actually does make sense since they do quite a bit of dmg with each projectile (be it the explosive one, or the green bombs that explode twice etc etc) and they all hit you at once before splitting.
So the only answer to carry on dude : just dodge everythings :D.
In any case, that's why none of my characters ever get a point of Armor, because you reach that dmg reduction / dodge cap through gear sooner or later anyways, hence, it's pointless.
like why bother having more max hp if vs the things that will kill you instantly if your not full hp so you can be full hp sooner
and armor won't stop what will probably kill you either hence damage is where your stat points go and nothing else
the game is more or less a bullet hell now a days
You can invest in HP (Armor is literally pointless, since there's a cap on dmg reduction/dodge and you can reach it just through gear), it'll not mean no more 1shots, just less, since the things that do 1shot you aren't just "random hits", it's big hits in most cases.
Also, i'd just like to point out that in Diablo 2, one of the greatest games of all time, for end-game builds you'd just put every single point in "Vitality" (for more HP), and rarely ever anything in any of the other 3 stats, that didn't hinder the game from setting milestones in gaming history either.
Bosses need a buff. As a marksman, (ranged class), I can literally just sit on bosses, and not die.
