Best way to make money

Hello,

it's pretty difficult to maintain my level of money now, thanks to the last patch. What's your best way to make money ?

I use my marksman on Destruction, on the Steam Train map (act VI map IV): I spam all the waves, then portal back to town and repeat by going back in the portal (it resets the waves). I use this map because I think it's the smallest one in the game and mobs come only from left or right. I take ALL the items I can find on the ground and sell them in town.
Of course, I have the Magnet (I think this item is mandatory, devs should make a few relics to increase the pickup radius or something to help gathering money).

Do you have any tips ?

Seriously ? You get more than enough money by playing "normally", like, there's not even enough to spend it on, you can drop wormhole keys regularly and exchanging gold for rubies/crystals is only going to be "necessary" (and i say that loosely) for a while since you eventually run out of stuff to buy.

By creating a new character and leveling them from 1-150, simply going from act to act, difficulty to difficulty, i was somewhere around like 1,5mil literally only through the leveling process, no farming at all, which by the way took me less than 48 hours to do.

How the hell do you spend your gold so quickly lol, do you just use the in-game shop (for relics etc) all the time and keep dying or something ? If you're only doing destruction and / or wormholes, you should be swimming in gold from the way it felt to me. You can barely do 1-2 maps on destruction before your entire inv is full.

They didn't "fix" the cap on selling things, only the tooltip.

I do only wormholes, that's the whole point of the problem. I don't like grinding in adventure, I just want to do wormholes. So I need money to buy keys. And I'm pretty sure they fixed the selling cap, because before it was fixed I had no problem getting enough money between wormhole and now it's not the case, even when I get all the items in the wormhole.

Of course they did, the patch notes from a while ago already said they capped it at 1500, and if you would sell any of the items stating that price, you would notice. You had to be pretty blind to sell something and see your gold go up by much more than indicated.

To Garfunk: Well, maybe you should try doing a few destruction maps instead of wormholes 24/7. Only solution if you really keep running out of money, although i really don't see how lol.

You have a 25% chance to drop wormholes from act bosses on destruction apparently, and ofc can buy them for 100k which is nothing if you just do maps.

Nah, i said you shouldn't only do wormholes, thats not the entire game, of coures you're gonna run out if all you do is literally wormholes 24/7. You gotta play SOME regular destruction.

That's what I thought, you didn't understand my post.

My WHOLE point is "how to make money the best way possible", not "should I do only wormholes ?".

If your only advice is "don't just play wormhole", I'm not interested, that's exactly what I do today. I WANT to optimize my non-wormhole play.

I understood the question perfectly fine, i literally said you don't really need to farm, unless you do wormholes 24/7 like yourself, you swim in gold, like i do, by simply playing the game normally.

OMG please stop. You're off topic, you don't understand ? I know I can get money by "playing the game", I know I'll be swimming in monye, I had 22 millions when I finished leveling my characters, that's not the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point !!!! I don't care about your "play the game normally" ! I want to know how to farm money the best way possible, to buy wormhole keys, because wormhole are not self-sufficients (and that's totally normal) ! Don't you understand ? Calm down xD. Let me attempt to explain what Garfunk wants; He wants to know the fastest maps/glitches/ways to make money, so that when he does do wormholes 24/7, he can do them a LOT.

What i have been saying from the beginning was that extensive farming shouldn't actually be necessary, that a few maps (any) on destruction will get you 100k easily, but w/e.

Lol, really ? I don't even get how you could tell me to be nicer when i did nothing wrong in the first place (nor acted rude at all) but he did, what in the actual fk.
