Dailies...

Anyone else have issues with the daily quests? Especially today, it seems that neither quest is doable. I have yet over the past 4/5 days been able to complete the hunt, even 5+ hours of grinding isn't enough to find the random mob you need to spawn and kill.
The other daily had been doable until today, I have walked every tile of Niflhel to find this "Grim Skull" but no indicator has popped up. I have even jumped all over every border to try and find a secret path to no avail. What am I missing?

Are you doing the quests in the same difficulty you took it from bounty board? I noticed that dailies would work that way and yes the ones that are hunting are RNG based.

I found right at the beginning of entering Niflhel there was a large black mass of hands, almost looked like a statue that you can interact with. Soon as I opened it a really unique looking skull dropped on the ground and boom quest was done. I hadn't been looking for it before so not sure if random but keep on the lookout for that.

I guess they didn't think the daily quests should be fun and or engaging too much random for fun

Its a lootable to which you open Like Amaloon said its black but it looks like a weed almost. Its the same thing as like in the pumpkin patch you open a pile of pumpkins and get coins, keys, etc....

I have done this quest many times and never found the boss
