There is multiple reasons for this

1. Seasonal characters are sperate from Normal Characters, you won't be able to join each other's rooms or see them if you are not the same type of character.

2. Hardcore is Seperate from Normal and the same rules as in 1.

3. Seasonal Hardcore is seperate from normal hardcore and Seasonal normal and like in 1. you will not be able to join or see each others room's if this is the case.

4. Region differences, make sure before you log in the same region is selected, but going from what you have said you both are in the same region 'China' Make sure this is selected before loging in JUST IN CASE, there have been times i have logged in and thought i was in the right region but wasn't.

Thank for your reply，I suspect it's my friend's problem with his network.We can play HERO SISGE together when he was the host,but diden't when i am the host.
I'm surprised that we can play when I'm the host, but the maps and monsters he sees are all wrong, and only I can see the right map.

Ah yes as the host you will usually see everything pretty quickly with little delay or differences for people joining though the data has to be sent to them and back as i believe it's Mostly peer 2 peer ?, if you are using official servers and experiencing this try Peer to Peer, if you are close to each other this may help.
