Disenchanting

So - maybe I'm just a moron, but how in the unholy hierophants do you actually disenchant something. I go talk to Torstein, I hit craft, all he has is create random items of various rarities, and merge powders - nothing about disenchanting. No options to do it while selling either. How is this supposed to work, exactly?

When you're selling an item, if it's legendary/mythic/satanic quality, you will get 1 of that quality powder instead of gold

Mil gracias Adrian - I was afraid to try it as I did not want to waste a mythical if it didn't work that way. This should probably be somewhere on the crafting UI or something, it's not exactly readily apparent if you don't know better.
