When next update?

There is a statement in latest news for the game:

The next one, scheduled for June, will be a major content-rich update that will renew the game's narrative flow.

Since it is already July, Is the update coming soon? How long will be the delay? I never got to finish the game in the past and I would like to do a new playthrough, but I don't know if I should wait for the update. Thank you.

You shouldn't wait, we (on the Xbox) were promised to get an update in November 2022 and we still haven't got one. Don't get your hopes up. But be happy if you get one.

Yeah I also stopped playing after reading the news about the next update (which will apparently be a major one). The developers are likely still working on it.

Indeed 2 GB in size. I was wondering if this might remove stuff instead of adding it. But I hope this game doesn't have third party music licenses that could expire or somethign along those lines.

Every since GTA V and Saints Row games started "updating" content out of games I got very waery when stuff like this happens.
