Is there a way I can change my difficulty to hard?

Not very far into the game but im regretting choosing normal as I like a challenge. Is there a way I can change my difficulty in game. If not can I edit files for it? Ive always been pretty incompetent when it comes to editing game files so i really dont know where to start.

Hello, you can edit the difficulty at any time in the interfaces & difficulty settings menu
