What is the purpose? No one makes anyone change their difficulty level.
We may add an achievement for not changing the difficulty through the game but we don't want people to feel trapped into their difficulty settings.
No integrity.
Bummer. Your game loses any real challenge and integrity.
A real shame since you have something potentially great here.
I truly hope you guys throw in a FEW achievements for those who like a challenge.
But having an achievement that is obtainable only if you complete the game in a specific difficulty without changing isn't the kind of challenge for that?
Ohh no it is for sure. Sorry if I seemed like I didn't agree. Just would like to see more than 1 achievement. Beef it up :) one for each boss.
Ever consider beefing that up a bit an giving some "true ending" or additional boss if you play on the hardest difficulty to the end? Or maybe some bonus scenes?
We may add stuff like this but in free dlcs post release, tbh already hitting our deadlines on time for the main content is already a challenge.
Understandable for sure.
More "niche" features would have to wait for sure.
Appreciate your response on the subject. Respect.
Self control ;)
Think this may make it for the launch? :)
I put placeholder achievements in the Steam backend so i won't forget, i added:
Normal Difficulty:
Complete the game with the battle difficulty set to 5 without changing it
Hard Difficulty:
Complete the game with the battle difficulty set to 7 without changing it
Nightmare Difficulty:
Complete the game with the battle difficulty set to 10 without changing it
Well done. Can't wait to see this.
