The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile

The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile

Do I need to play Dead Samurai to understand this?
I saw the trailers and screen shots, read the reviews, and am incredibly intruiged with this game. It looks neat but I noticed that it is a followup to a game called "Dead Samurai" does that mean that it just was the next game created by the developers or is it a direct sequel? Would I need to play Dead Samurai first to understand the story to this game and enjoy it fully?

yeah, you need to play "The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai" to understand the story.

(Dead Samurai is only on XBOX 360, he's comming to steam.)
Thanks for the info, I don't have an XBox or any console aside from a Wii and Gamecube so I'll wait.

I mean in my opinion; of course you'd know more about the characters pasts and what happened before this game, but you can still understand who the characters are and what the story is during this game, without having played "dead samurai"

You dont necessarily need it per se, as The Dishwashers story gives you most of what you need to know from the first game. But yea the first game is only on Xbox 360 and unfortunately it probably isnt ever coming to pc.
