DRM is NOT a good thing you know.
U are gonna make the shills and fake gamers mad with that statement. I stopped pirating long ago after learning that it is actually stealing but the shills will defend that anticonsumer DRM practices like oh idk this game when it was on the Windows 10 Store UWP (Worst DRM out there locked game files)
It is exactly the same as buying the game on steam and then refunding it, only much more flexible and less hassle.
Wish people would stop seeing piracy as negative, at least for video games.
Budget has very little to do with "pirate-prohibiting" games, it comes down to the fact that there isnt exactly a reliable way to prevent people from cracking the game.

If anything, restrictive DRMs like Denuvo does more to harm sales. As people hate restrictive DRM that forces sh*t like always online, and that can potentially reduce game performance and longer load times.
Plus Denuvo has become so useless now that Total War Warhammer 2 got cracked in hours from release.
ATM cuphead has sold over 800 hundred copies just in steam and with gog and xbox sales its a huge success, and piracy helps this game a lot, agree with Captain Jordan and Parasite X, it doesnt hurt sales and there are a ton of reasons about it but life is to short and there are many many really many games out there so pick your purchases wisely and pirate the rest jaja.
