It will not, the minimum is 3.0ghz or higher

It probably can, but that's just a guess. I run Cuphead on an HP 15-ba088nr laptop[support.hp.com] (quad-core 2.2GHz, 4GB shared RAM) and the game plays fine with few frame drops (disabling VSync improves performance - virtually no frame drops).

Runs fine on even an Intel Atom, which clocks at 1.6ghz.

I'm no stranger to playing PC games "under spec", but Cuphead definitely isn't as spec-intensive as, say, Ori and the Blind Forest, or I Am Bread, both of which list like 2.5-2.7GHz as a minimum cpu speed.

So im guessing it will run fine, like atleast 30 to 40fps?

Type "Can You Run It" in google and select Cuphead. There you'll find out if your computer run the game

Clockspeeds don't tell you much about how strong your processor is.

A 2 GHZ Coffee Lake CPU is gonna be much, much, much faster than a 4 GHZ Pentium 4, for example.

true, but unfortunately, there is people who still judge GPUs by their model number (the higher the better) :/

Model number's actually not a bad way to judge GPU's, as both AMD and Nvidia are pretty consistent with their naming schemes. Whether a GTX 780 or 980 is faster is more ambiguous, sure, but so long you know that the last two digits are how good GPU is in terms of that generation and the preceding digits are the generation number you'll have a pretty good idea of what's better than what. Throw in a TI for upgraded rereleases and you're set.

It's a similar deal with CPU's, though at least until recently the generation by generation improvement has been much more mild and the higher end models of any reasonably recent generation will kick the ass out of anything lower tier in later generations.

But Cuphead will run on just about anything so long you're not playing a TI-89. And even then, someone's going to make that port.

Pretty much. I'm not sure many people will have problems running this.

My laptop is by no means a "gaming laptop" and has trouble with newer 3D games, but Cuphead runs perfectly with no problems.
