Just like when PC1 was released, going to take time to get bugs fixed and add other stuff but I find way better when comes to everything can do building. I mean now I don't need to worry about dark not being dark with cover them or just have to go night. Then you add stuff flat ride or coaster to make the theme any way you like.

In my opinion, it is worth it. Now you have to understand that it was just released so you can not really compare it to the first game. The first game is not receiving new content.

first game - complete
second game - newly release so there is further development in the future

If you really want it and at a discount wait until there are sales. It could be on sale in the next big Steam sale.

If you already played Planet Coaster 1 (like me with more than 100 hrs), you will like Planet Coaster 2 too. You don't need to buy it on steam for the full price. There are keys for a lower price in the internet, if you want that.

If a poorly designed UI isn't a problem for you (They are going to fix it in the next update anyways) and you really like building and decorating your park it's probably worth it for you. You should have a good PC, because it's really performance intensive in bigger parks. But I would really recommend you to not get it for 50€.

Unplayable with crashes and many bugs. Its not worth the money now. Its like a early access game.

The game feels like a DLC for PC1.
Would you pay $70 for a DLC for any game?

I've got the game for my girlfriend since she didn't play PC1, so she is having fun and I played it, but it gives me no "new" vibes, which is why many here are saying that if you liked PC1, you will probably like this.

I however, won't give into this lazy behaviour from the devs. It's not worth the price tag for me and if I feel like playing a tycoon game, I'll just re-install PC1.

Also, had a run in with some fanboys here, so I told them if this game hits 75% within 30 days of me making that post (which was about a week ago), I'll reconsider, but it went from 61% to 59% and there's roughly 3 more weeks left or I'm just gonna pretend this game never existed. For a game that is defended so hard, I'd expect at least 70% by now.

I have 650hrs in PC1 and 9hrs in PC2. You're going to be frustrated at the lack of pieces and rides, the irritating interface and maybe the bugs, BUT, I personally haven't had any crashes or game stopping issues or even many noticeable bugs. I almost gave up a few times but I kept coming back and trying again. I'm glad a I did. It's got a few nice extras over PC1 such as the pools and better scenery graphics and I have no doubt it will be a better game in the long run. You're have a fear of missing out if you don't get it and I reckon that'll pick away at you. I'm still frustrated at the severe lack of pieces compared to PC1 but I need to remember it's a new games. I'm glad I got it.

In other words, instead of progressing and evolve from the first game, they took one step forward then two steps back... to sell you themes from the first game and double dip the same DLCs.
im not sure about this game its just like planet coaster 1 just with the power grid from planet zoo guest AI is still nowhere close to being good. They added staff paths but absolutely no reason for that guest don't go anywhere that doesn't have rides or shops hell even if you have a big park with lots of paths guest will still just be all bunched up together. Guest will enter your park and ride one ride and then go or just go to a shop then leave. noting bad ever happens or even will happen the worst thing that can happen is bins and beaches get trashed just hate how PG this game is. Added water parks to the game witch is pretty lame and for a theme park game they don't add a lot of thing that should be in a theme park game carnival game arcade machines but they add aquatic ,viking and mythological like none of those makes sense. The coaster part of the game also feel under welling gives you no limitations when building it also doesn't tell you if your coaster if unsafe just have to test it once and your good to go. At the end of the day its a great creative building game that's all its good for.

Your best bet is to wait. Im sure they can make the necessary changes and additions, but you are better off waiting till those are in the game so you have a better more completed product when you buy it. Thats what im doing.

If like the management side at the moment no, but building then yes because there are a lot of customizing you can do paired to pc1.

I enjoyed it. It's not as complete and they've made some really annoying changes to the workshop and blueprints system. But i think long term it's sustainable. They just made their own cross platform shop and it's much more difficult to find blueprints now. which is very frustrating when you want to find the perfect themed object. But I imagine it'll fix itself eventually. they're pretty bad at community management so... Id SUGGEST they have competitions and stuff to get more themes built by players but the shop is full of these noob designs and its kinda frustrating when you want something cool and just realize you should make it yourself... that being said. the share to workshop feature is much easier than the previous steam method of doing it. So there's that too. But that creates the new problem that like 80 percent of content posted is kinda bad.
