Moving Platform Stop at one End?

These platforms are a big welcome, but they're super basic. Does anyone know of a way for the horizontal or vertical platform to move in one direction and stay there for a certain amount of time, then return to its original position. Right now, they all just go back and forth without stopping. I was hoping maybe by adding a second platform to the first, there was a work around, but nope.

At the moment, this is not possible. It has been brought up, a lot in threads, but we have not had any communication from frontier, on if this will be done.

Thanks - once I saw how long it was taking for replies, I knew it was a lost cause. Oh well, maybe with update # whatever.
