AMD crashing

I keep getting crashes in game with the newest AMD GPU driver. Upon searching the forums no one has said about this issue but a quick google search brings up the newest driver 25.3.1 giving issues for PC2. Recommended to use Guru 3D Display Driver Uninstaller and revert back to 25.2.1 for a more stable game play. Apparently both AMD have not released "updated" driver support for the game and frontier have not disclosed anything in their "patches" but apparently it has been reported to both.

Same here. I've found when navigating/moving around the map it crashes. So frustrating!

After changing my drivers to 25.2.1 it has not crashed once

Heyo, im on 7900xtx AMD Gpu and have same problem, its only game where it happens.
I cannot roll back drivers due to software im using for work in real life, i only hope for Frontier to fix that as temporary fix: turning off global illumination helps.

Yeah true I did this about 8 hours ago and hasn't crashed once so its 100% a fix for now for AMD users.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one with this issue! My PC crashed the other day so I updated my driver (usually fixes it), but I can't play Planet Coaster 2 for more than a minute now without it crashing. I sent in a report as well and hope that gets fixed soon :(

Thank you so much for your post! I coudn´t play PL2 for longer than 5 minutes without it crashing. Since I installed the previous graphics card driver, it runs absolutely smoothly! :-)

Hey Lads with AMD Gpus and newest drivers, has anyone tested situation with global illumination ON after latest, 4 today patch? Maybe it is fixed?

Nvidia too it seems as with my 2080ti, game keeps crashing after a few minutes.

Game crashes for me too, using latest drivers. Just moving around the camera crashes it. I don't want to move back to older drivers, since they are released since February and are needed for other games.

Can't be so difficult to test the game on latest drivers and latest hardware before releasing an update. :/

Turning Global Illumination OFF helps, and game stilll looking great when everything else on ultra/high.
It was reported, we can only wait for a fix.

Did this, still crashed. I think it could be the Autosave system. Im going to test and will update.

Soooo Issue for me was i had set DLSS model to latest in nvidia app. This uses the newer transformer model, which the 20 series cards can do but clearly the game isnt designed for it.
