Why do publishers and developers hate thier customers?

Where has all this hate come from? Why do they hate us so much? What did we do to them to make them so angry?

Back in my day, when you bought a game on a console or PC. They barely had any bugs in them. You bought a game like Diablo, and you could get through the entire game without one crash or any sort of glitches. And games were tested thouroughly and curated by publishers who knew once the game went Gold, it was done.

Now were getting games that have just been coded the previous day. The games are missing half thier content. And Day one DLC that costs half as much as the game. There is no exscuse for it. Game developers who do that are the scum of the industry and its no wonder AAA is going bust. Dont tell me "Booo hooo making games is hard". And thats why they get paid the big bucks.

I will not be buying the Vintage FunFair Pack. That should have been in the default game like it is for any other Fun Fair type game. $27 NZ? Thats insulting.

I've been watching Geekism's videos for Pllanet Coaster 2 and he says "I'm Ok with the bugs and crashes, I've only crashed two times when making this video". NOT THAT IS NOT OK. Its shills like that who are the reason why were in this mess.

Your right they do it for the money. They dear not say anything bad about the game else no more free games and no more money coming in from Youtube!

Not even DeLadySigner recommends the game. And shes the reason I bought Planet Coaster 1.

In my ONE hour of playing the game doing the tutorial, I stuttered like crazy, kept freezing, and crashed twice. So I got a refund. I didnt even touch the workshop.

I've not touched the workshop either. Only played career so i can get the tutorials . Played first career ok then after playing that for approx 2hrs it now constantly crashes. Obviously no refund now!

I remember they used to be on discs too so they had to make sure they worked before they sold them. Now it seems everything is our fault, wrong specs on pc, wrong drivers, etc probably my PC is in the wrong room in my house now!

They changed their direction after Planet Zoo´s release to Console.
Since then they have been a console centric developer.

This game is made for console, not PC.. unlike Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo. They do this, because math and statistics tell them its cheaper to make and optimize for console and that they will get more sells... reality is something else ofc..

This might come to haunt them later on or the entire IP might just turn out to be a more dumbed down console centric endavour from now on.
They forgot how loyal some of us (some of us supported them during the Planet Coaster development)

Another thing that made a larger impact was something as simple as removing steams workshop to their own... I have no interest in using their workshop or uploading, it is simply a hassle and I feel less secure there.. (I guess I am burned from what happened with CO´s CS2) but overall I wish I could have a good time, share stuff like I did with Planet Zoo (I uploaded lots of content) but I just don´t feel like this game offers me the same tools or as good an experience so far..

I will ofc give them a chance and see where it all ends up.
