Is there a list of differences or pro v con list between planet coaster 1 vs 2? Or if someone can list it? Aside from a plethora of bugs, is it an improvement?

No. Planco 2 maybe a complete game in a year. Play Planco 1 instead.

Planco 2 is missing loads of rides and themes from Planco 1, even if you don't count DLC. It's missing some basic features right now (no custom music or billboards; these are set to return in a few days). You're hamstrung by a console-first UI philosophy in Planco 2 vs 1. I'd say to get Planco 1, but I also wouldn't support Frontier at all right now. Their direction as an overall company has been miserable over the last several years. Get Parkitect if you're craving some RCT-style creativity if you don't already have it.

I cannot play Planco2 atm due to the amount of missing items that came in 1. I agree that the game is another year away from where it needs to be which is hugely disappointing.

-Security Guards
-Crime and Vandalism
-ATM's
-Staff Training
-Hotels
-Restaurants
-Vista points
-Missing staff / mascots and related shops such as Street-Fox Coffee
-PC1 does not have the horrible Gluten Vegan mechanic.
-Significantly better research system
-An actual park management sim
-Much better financial management system.
-Much better art style, The new art style is way too colourful and looks like a Facebook free to play game for toddlers.
