Game STILL KEEPS CRASHING

GPU: Nvidia 4070 Super
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800XT 8 Core processor

Game crashes

Sice the latest update, my game crashes every time i try to load my save.
it takes around 45 minutes and multiple crashes before i can finally play. once in-game, everthing runs fine, but getting there is incredibly frusrating.
I've tried verifying files, reinstalling, disabling steam cloud, and even starting a new save, but nothing helps. This issue is making the game almost unplayable, and it's getting really frustrating.

I'm a Steam Deck user and this is my exact issue, except I haven't been able to load at all and I can't even start a new game. :(

My game crashes whenever I try to open it

Hello, So I recently got this game and it was going well at first. Still It started lagging even though I barley built anything so I lowered my graphics. Still it got worse so I tried increasing them again to see if it would fix things. Still when I was doing that the game crashed. I tried reopening it and the game crashed after the loading screen. I made sure to update all my settings and I did. Still after I did all that it still wasn't working and the same issue has been happening. I am not sure what to do and every other game I have is working. I just want to see what this is and what I can do to fix it since the game itself is great!

PC specs? Size of loading game? it's a high demand game, so that might be the problem. I'm on 40/80 super, AND ryzen 7 7800X3D and hit some minor lag Issues at 6000 guests, give or take.

Just an FYI. I'm going to merge all threads that have to do with crashes, after the latest update, here so they're all in one place for the Community Managers and anyone else who is having the same issue.

Let me check my properties. I admit that I'm not as familiar with my computer as other PC users so it may take some time but I will check!

so I checked and I am a "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU" and it also says I have "Intel(R) UHD Graphics" I admit that I don't know what that means but that's what it says.

Just an update but I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it's still crashing right when I open it.

I just had the game randomly crash mid game. It had been kind of laggy earlier in the day.

could be that your game is running on the intel gpu instead of your gaming gpu. i dont remember correctly how but there was a way to force a game to start up using the gpu you set it to. this is what a quick google search resulted:

Right-click on the desktop and select ``Nvidia Control Panel''. On the left panel, click on ``Manage 3D settings''. Now, select a program to customize( or select the game you want your graphic card to run. Just below that, select the preferred graphic processor for your program( or your game)

hope this helps and gets the game running for you :)

I tried this and so far it seems to have worked. It was set to auto select, but chaged it directly to my GPU. Thanks!
