This indeed was yet another oversight by the lackluster development team.Indeed an option to play a sequencer at a specific time should have been an obvious thing.

wow so basically fireworks are useless because who tf would always go and trigger them manually xD

I suppose we could set them to go off at some crazy number of seconds but I suspect that would reset every time the park is loaded.

So basically what i'm hearing is the whole fireworks/water display shows is an afterthought and was only slapped on with no love for it to try to appease those who wanted them. In other words basically like slapping on a band-aid...
How is is that RCT3 dominates the SFX sequence editing AND built in special effect editor with UI ease still to this day in any game? Like how>?

Yeah, it just wasn't thought trough. We were told it was supposed to be added later but I think they dumped another incomplete routine in hopes to appease some of the negative issues that plague game play.

You can specify an time of day on the sequencer , its even set to 20:00-00:08 by default.(Night)
I use an sequencer in continue with that setting on for firework , work fine .
BUT i dont know if this setting on the sequencer is new from the last update cause i didnt mess with it before .

But the time you can set there seems to be time in which the sequencer CANT be triggered no? In german its written like that, did they maybe translate it wrong?

You need to contact Frontier and tell them that the translation is confusing or wrong.

Here is the issue with setting a window for the event to fire. The event cycles continuously in the background and if the window of the event doesn't coincide with the start of the loop for the sequencer said triggers will never fire.

just checked again and no, that is not the setting at what time the sequencers triggers. there is no such option
jerry-lee95 Dec 16, 2024 @ 10:40am
What option do you have on the setting tab of an sequencer?
grampers62 Dec 16, 2024 @ 10:45am
There is an option to set a window of time that the event sequence is allowed to activate. The option is start between x:xx hours and y:yy hours. While this option is okay for activating lights (the three that are tiggerable) it totally fails when it comes to fireworks and fountains.

well thats not what it should be. fireworks should only be triggered once, not go on a 1-5 hour loop all night long ;/

If you want it to only fire once then dont put it on continue and put the start time at the desired time wouldnt that work ?
