Update completely broke my sandbox save
I have about 12 blank notifications that I can't dismiss, and they keep piling on.

I go to my research tree and it's a blank screen with the number of research points I have overlapping the word "Research" at the top.

I can't set any custom prices, and changing the ticket type for the adult entry tickets changes it for everything. When I close the menu and reopen it, nothing I changed saved. It also shows the max amount of every type of ticket on the chart, with the entire middle part of the bars on the chart invisible.

Half of my structures no longer have a name when I click on them.

All of my cable car stations now say inaccessible. Replacing the entrance does nothing.

Game crashes while looking at the newly broken menus. Game also crashes when double clicking any flat ride, which clicking once doesn't bring up any ride menu.

LOL

It's seemed to have broken my save. I have 1 project. A huge viking themed park. After the update I can't get into the sandbox settings (It pops up blank with no options to choose) to do anything, Trying to go into settings crashes the game.

I CAN load up my park and watch it run. But I can't edit anything or it crashes, try to add anything or it crashes, change a ride name or...you get the idea. Forced to start a new park. Everything works as intended I guess so far. But yeah, I guess my saves before the patch are borked unless they come up with a fix for it. Not holding my breath tbh.

I, too, had one large park with all 240 hours dedicated to just that park and now it wont load. I'm assuming the new update made our parks too "piece heavy" in some way and that a small patch for this update might fix it? At least I'm praying for that because its super sad that I lost all of that work!

There is no guarantee that any update, hotfix, etc. are saved game compatible.

You must guarantee it, otherwise don't release it

A game where people spend hundreds, and even thousands, of hours meticulously placing individual objects, props, and items across an expansive map to build their dream theme park should not expect an update to carry over all that work?? Then why would anyone play the game if, with every update, there's a chance that all the time and effort they put into their game won't work and they'll have to start again every time? The YouTube showcases where creators take weeks to build theme parks shouldn't expect the work they've done to have continuity after updates??

If that isn't ridiculous, then I don't know what is.

he only shows up to contradict negative feedback, and defend the game... i'd block him but i'm not the blocking type.
