Path line drawing tool now resets when switching between Straight/Curved path

So, the brilliantly useful line drawing tool that was introduced for Planet Coaster 2 has been broken (on purpose?) in this update. You can no longer switch between straight and curved path without it resetting your line. This essentially makes the curved tool useless.

How does this stuff even get introduced? I mean, for this to happen, It's like Frontier have chosen to do it? Very strange.

Anyway, one of the things I loved to do (experimenting with the paths and plazas) has been severely limited by this update. One step forwards....Two steps back.
