If your 8GB of RAM was enough for Planet Zoo, it will be enough for Planet Coaster 2. But I don't think you'll enjoy it for very long.

I can't answer that. You should really think about upgrading your RAM. :)

also does virtual memory help?

Not really, its much slower than actual RAM, so whilst you increase capacity, you drastically reduce speed. so same result, only fractionally better.

The best i can suggest is keep all settings low and keep your guests counts capped at say, 1k. Reduced experience and cash flow but to run it on 8GB you gotta make sacrifices.

i dont know, im fine if its at least 20fps
I see you already bought Planet Coaster 2. Try it for 2 hours and if your 8gb is not enough then return it. We can't tell you how the game will run with 8gb. I think it will be the same as Planet Zoo for you.

Out of curiosity, whats stopping you from upgrading your ram? Lack of cash? space? compatibility? Availability?

If you are on DDR4 ram, 16GB DDR4-3600 Corsair LPX Ram cost less than this game.

Unless you are running a laptop, we don't know.

Edit: Didn't see the part including the laptop part, for some reason, silly me.

Minimum spec as listed on the store page is 16GB *and* 8GB of vram. So if your rig has integrated graphics that shares system ram it might not even load...
