Did they ever mention or address fixing cable cars getting stuck and not moving?

I, too, would love to know this. How am I supposed to beat revenue based challenges when the the mechanics I rely on to work properly don't?

I had a situation with the cable cars that they weren't moving, and someone on another thread mentioned that the inclines might be too steep. I went through and adjusted the ascent and descent grades to make individual sections less steep, and that seemed to work for me.

I don't know if it was an attempt to make them more realistic but it is very annoying

It definitely seems to be a problem!

yes had it. check the line., and weirdly i found out testing it on normal speed (not ffw) helped. on ffw they didnt move but normal speed they did. after test they just run fine but no one used it. it took 2 days then people started to use them

When I played the career mode park, I think it was Paradise Island, where the cable car station needed to be completed, I had three stations on different islands where the incline/decline of the cables were all set to 11.25. However, I noticed the cable cars still runs into the issue of not moving no mater was is done. I've tried adjusted the cable speed, I removed and rebuilt the station platforms of the ones I could, verified that all ride attendants were present. But it resulted with the same outcome where after it ran for a few in-game minutes, the cars with guests inside would just stop and no longer move again until I either closed/tested the ride and open it back up again. Even then, sometimes it would not move at all, would not let guests on the ride, or do the same thing as before.

Yeah they are broken, I did some research and this is a problem multiple people have experienced. I've experienced this exact problem exactly how you describe it. Just frustrating spending a bunch of time building and incorporating cable cars throughout my park for it to be broken

I had to run multiple tests to identify 2-3 spots where the first car was blocked. Indeed, it was because for some reason, the level of inclination wasn't right. I tried different levels and finally I built the last station a little lower. and then... it worked!

yes run into this also, when you send a technician for repair only on car moves one time and then get stuck again., could be a blocking condition but any hint would be great.

I faced the same issue when I play Paradise Island park in the career mode, where the unfinished cable car station needs to be constructed. I completed a long-distance cable car with three stations on three different islands. But I noticed the cable car is stuck not moving after a few in-game minutes. I tried to change the incline/decline of the cable car and rebuilt stations a couple of times, but nothing worked. I then adjusted the moving speed of the cable car and somehow at the speed of 15 km/h, it no longer gets stuck. I guess there’s some kind of relationship between distance of the cable car and its moving speed to offset the bug? Hope this helps!
I was stuck on this too. deleted the tracks twice and redid them. in the end with no hight difference at all. And you guessed it, it still got stuck, so i gave up.

I've also had the issue. It would go for a few seconds, then stop. And it doesn't even say it's broken down either, and people just wait in line for it...

change the speed.

This issue seems to be related to stations becoming overloaded with cabin cars.
I've fixed it by adjusting cabin speed 1 step at a time until it works properly.

You should not have to work around a bug in something you have paid for. My word. Why are people accepting this. Stop being taken for mugs, demand a refund and force the devs to fix these things.

Obviously.

But I'm still going to try and help people as much as I can.
