Power Condition Penalties?

How are you guys managing your power condition penalties? I have a rather large franchise park now with a small army of mechanics who check my power generators twice per day, per generator and the condition penalty still manages to creep up to the point I need to build more generators.

I know they are looking at this issue for the December hotfix but I'm having this issue now and was just wondering what my fellow franchise players are doing to mitigate the problem.

I wish we could still train staff and that trained mechanics would fix generators outright because at least then there would be a solution to it.

Do I just have my mechanic watch the generator for their whole day and do nothing else? Will that keep the lights on? Not sure what else to try at this point. :/

its hard yes, i upgrade to solar panels now as power is way too expensive and it seems better maintainable too. Might be just me but i think its better

Yeah, I've been using solar panels too, they give more power but I feel like they build up condition penalty a lot faster, I'm not 100% sure though, just seems to feel that way. Pretty annoying though, it's like you're meant to refurbish them every so often but it seems like I have to do it way too often. There's other stuff I'd rather be working on. My mechanics should be able to sort this out themselves. :/
